From the South

Starting at San Francisco Airport which is located on Highway 101 travel north to San Francisco, which is 6 miles away. Continue on 101 for another 6 miles until the freeway ends in downtown San Francisco and continues as highway 101 onto Van Ness Ave. Follow Van Ness Ave for 2 miles where it will then turn left onto Lombard St. and continue as Highway 101. Lombard St is 1 mile long and leads onto the freeway approach for the Golden Gate Bridge which is also Highway 101.

Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and continue north. Highway 101 travels uphill for 2 miles and passes through a tunnel then downhill for 2 miles where you then see the freeway exit sigh for Highway 1 Stinson Beach.

Follow the Highway 1 signs as you travel through 2 stoplights. The first light you will travel straight ahead and on the second light get in the left lane and go left to continue on Highway 1. After this second light there is a 30-minute scenic drive on the famous cliffs of Highway 1, overlooking the Pacific Ocean as you travel to Stinson Beach, California.

At the end of this 30-minute drive you will see the world famous Stinson Beach as you come down the mountain and into town. The Stinson Beach Motel is located on the right side of the road, as soon as you arrive in town.

From the North From Petaluma -Take Washington exit to Petaluma Blvd., and go left. Travel 3 blocks and turn right on D Street. D Street leaves Petaluma and becomes the Pt Reyes-Petaluma road. Follow this to Pt Reyes located on Highway 1. Turn left on Highway 1 and follow it for 30 minutes to Stinson Beach. We are on the left one block from the first stop sign in town.

From the East Take Interstate 80 into the bay area. In order to avoid city traffic exit Interstate 80 at the city of Vallejo and take Highway 37 to Highway 101. Go South on Highway 101 for 15 miles until you see the Highway 1 Stinson Beach exit sign. Follow the same directions at this point as listed in the directions from the South.

From the West Sail from Hawaii to San Francisco. Anchor your ship in the Marina District. Take Marina Blvd west until it joins Highway 101 north. Cross the Golden gate Bridge and go north 4 miles. Take the Stinson Beach Hwy 1 exit. Follow Highway 1 for 30 minutes to Stinson Beach. We are located on the right side of the road as soon as you arrive in town.
